National Institutes of Health (NIH) / National Cancer Institute (NCI) granted a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) for Individual Postdoctoral Fellows (F32) for my project entitled: "Targeting Quiescence Pathways to Overcome Chemoresistance in EVI1-Overexpressing Leukemia". The Kimberly Patterson Fellowship in Leukemia Research at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center honors the memory of a courageous patient and her wish to support research to eradicate the disease. The fellowship is offered by MDACC as a recognition for research contributions and potential for excellence.

TRIUMPH Postdoctoral Fellowship (2019–2022)

The MD Anderson Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) granted a TRIUMPH (Translational Research in Multi-Disciplinary Program) Fellowship for my postdoctoral training in cancer translational and clinical research.

ASH Abstract Achievement Award

The American Society of Hematology (ASH) awarded my abstract entitled "MDS1-EVI1 Complex (MECOM) Activation Promotes Leukemic Stem Cell Quiescence By Upregulating CDKN1C/P57Kip2" the Abstract Achievement Award, a merit-based award for trainees who are the first author and presenter on a high-scoring annual meeting abstract.
